Our client is a is a global company specialised in the development and manufacture of pump solutions for marine, industry, oil spill combating, defence & fuel and utility both locally and globally.

They are looking for one Regional Sales Manager for China market.

 

Position: Regional Sales Manager - M&O

Location: Shanghai

Report to: GM

Main responsibilities

  • To be primarily responsible for the business development and market promotion of pumps;
  • Promote marine pumps to ship owners, shipyards, design and research institutes, engineering companies and distributors
  • To continually ensure that we are developing strong and productive relationships with our customers wherever possible meeting their needs, creating a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • To acquire a strong knowledge of the products in marine and offshore
  • To gather, analyze and share market intelligence with management, which could lead to future business growth opportunities
  • To gather, analyze and share market intelligence with management, which could lead to future business growth opportunities
  • To prepare a monthly report highlighting the marketing & sales achievements in the server market segments and territory
  • Give strong technical and commercial support to distributors, engineering companies and end-users, offer engineered solutions and explain the complex concepts to stakeholder

 

Education

Bachelor degree in maritime or mechanical engineering;

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in maritime or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 8 years’ working experience in marine industry with good networking
  • The willingness to travel regularly on company business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Demonstrable experience, marketing & sales skills and proven track record within a similar product environment
  • Computer based skill such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Good leadership and team player
  • Good communication and training skills
